What is a spinach ricotta savory ring?

This recipe uses a 9.5-inch ring or Bundt pan lined with sliced melting cheese. Inside is a mixture of cooked spinach, ricotta, eggs, Parmesan, and seasonings. After baking, the ring rests briefly before you turn it onto a plate and slice it.

Before you fill the pan

Cook the spinach and squeeze it dry before mixing it with the ricotta and eggs. Removing excess moisture helps keep the filling from becoming watery.

Grease the pan, then line its bottom and sides with cheese slices without large gaps. Have a plate ready for the careful turn after the five-minute rest.
